Libations and Liberty

In 1933, FDR had had enough. With the US mired in the depths of the Great Depression, the newly elected president was ready to offer the country a New Deal for prosperity. One of his first acts in office was to make good on his campaign promise to end Prohibition. The repeal of the 18th Amendment made FDR the toast of a grateful nation. It was an affirmation of the right to personal liberty that boosted spirits—in every sense of the word. Cocktail glasses clinked in salutation, with a rich mix of the fresh juices and premium spices that had disappeared from shadowy speakeasies. That celebration of libations and liberty is the inspiration for our 1933 blend. Its delicious mix of Oolong tea, ginger, honey and lime gives it the same vital versatility you’ll find in our other Finest Kind mixers. And now that Prohibition’s over, they’re sure to jazz up your favorite mocktail or cocktail too.

We like to keep things simple with our ingredients—1933 only contains:
Kettle-brewed Oolong (water, oolong tea), Lime Flavor, Honey, Citric Acid, Ginger Extract.
