More than 200 years ago, Lombard family merchants carried cargo to their home port in Boston, Massachusetts in the kind of craft custom-built for the tea trade. The tall, sail-stacked masts of these clipper ships had been designed to speed the season’s first crops of tea from China and deliver it to Britain, half a world away. The narrow profiles of these vessels meant that they could carry only what was needed to deliver the premium tea packed in their holds while it was still fresh. Every bottle of our mixers and modifiers carries the spirits of those ships today. Their concentrated cargoes mean they ship fast and light, delivering the fresh tea taste that’s easy on your palate and our planet. Our commitment to both is a family tradition that every one of us at Finest Kind is proud to keep alive.
